Gordon has the right idea

Prime Minister Gordon Brown announced today that all UK troops will withdraw from Iraq by July, 2009.

About time...

I know Bush has given up the idea of acting like a President (see Rachel Maddow's Lame Duck Watch below), but perhaps an announcement like this would be just the thing he needs to boost those ratings before leaving office.
