I just channel surfed onto that World Trade Center movie they made with Nicholas Cage. If you haven't seen it- don't worry. It's really terrible. I already hate Nicholas Cage, but this just made me want to slap him. Flight 93 was awesome though. Watch that one with a glass of wine, and then try not to spend the next three hours researching every victim on that plane.
Anyway, that's not the point. The point is, I got nostalgic thinking about my first trip to New York when I was 15. One of my favorite days in the city was spent exploring lower Manhattan. My aunt and I visited the Statue of Liberty and then rode the elevators all the way up to Windows on the World- the restaurant at the top of the World Trade Center. I think we paid about $20 for a couple of Cokes, but it was worth it. That place was stunning.
I just found a gallery of photos from the restaurant online. Thought I'd share a favorite.
