Chambonea y mas!

Sitting in Dodger Stadium, I often find myself silently grooving to Rafael Furcal's sweet at-bat music. Of course, I have no idea what the lyrics are or what they mean, so I can't really get down like the rest of the upper reserve section.

Luckily for me, Roberto over at Vin Scully is my Homeboy made a list of all the at-bat songs for my favorite Boys in Blue.

Furcal= Chambonea Omega. Not sure if that's a two-word title or an artist and track, but in any case it loosely translates to something having to do with being lucky. Or lazy. One of the two.

Enjoy the rest of the list and bust out those iTunes gift cards. Time to get your driving-to-the-playoffs mix CD ready.

MANNYGATE '09

News Me Baby is a Dodger Fan. I bleed Dodger blue, and all that jazz.

So the news that my main squeeze, Manny Ramirez, was suspended for 50 games today after testing positive for drug use was a bit of shock.

You can't dispute test results, but I'm all kinds of pissed off that Manny was suspended. 50 games? For (what's being reported as) a little bedtime performance enhancer?

Screw you, MLB.



It doesn't matter anyway. We have one of the strongest teams out there. I watched with pride as my Dodgers kicked Cubby butt last year for the division championship, and I look forward to watching Manny take the team all the way to the series.....after July 3rd.
